It’s cool. It’s humid. It’s beautiful. It’s dark. Clouds arrive in a fashionable way and then spread around. It rains sometimes, and then again it’s just clouds hanging around. Grass is wet and the path is slippery. Nothing is dry and warm. Still I walk and walk letting the clouds pass right beside me, through me, and all over again, I experience one of the gifts of the nature- monsoons.

Location: Khajjiar, Himachal Pradesh, India.

Hey Divs! Thanks a lot.
Lucky you. For us the clouds pass by without letting us feel the moist droplets and the cool opaque sheet of fantasy. All we do is look up and pray that at least we be lucky enough to feel the final showdown, rains.
Lovely pics Nans and specially the one where we can see you and yet cannot see you….
Thanks Lee
Thanks for sharing the beauty of the place which is beyond words. Go on posting good stuff. God bless.
Miss you,
Gagan.
Thank you. Miss you too my friend.
I wonder — the way these photographs are looking here, so beautiful, calm and perfect — how would the view be in real life? I don’t think it’s possible to describe the feeling.
For people like myself who are from the plains, the place where you live in the hills is the one we crave for throughout our lives. And you are lucky enough to be living there. Cherish this feeling, always.
Yes, the real feeling is something else. Thanks for your comment. I love it!
I have visited India several times and I have listened to many stories of the monsoons, your photos are amazing!
Thanks a lot for your feedback, and yes the monsoons are great here!
Simply awesome ma’m. You really are a rare talent and so good are your snaps.

Thanks Adivy
Lovely, ethereal series of photos Nandini! The trees in the mist-sigh. I don’t waste any time grabbing my camera when it is misty and foggy here at home.
Yeah, hands start to tingle if they don’t get a camera on time, right?
Thank you so much for the like and comment. I’m glad you liked all of the pictures.
Wow this is so beautiful. I remember when I had my first brush with it, I thought it was mist. Mist? Come on, but I finally got to know there were clouds. Walking with the clouds…I loved it. Nice to relive thouse moments

Blind flight?
I love the photos in the forest, haunting, beautiful. And the mist, rolling in over the mountains.
Haunting. That’s the first time someone said that. I like it.
