“To the artist there is never anything ugly in nature.”
~ Auguste Rodin
This photograph was taken on 11th March of this year.
The header picture is of the tree just outside the window of my workplace. Recently, the red flowers have bloomed, and red and green make a good couple, so I just clicked it (a few hours ago).
As I always say -
GREEN. IS. GOOD.

and if I may add: YOUR “green is VERY good”!
interesting treatment. thank you for your post
Completely my pleasure! Thank you for checking this out.
Really nice!
Thank you, Mehmudah.
Nature is always beautiful, but one needs to be an artist (like you) to see it.
Thank you for saying that Bindu, truly appreciate it.
Totally agree with…. ” Auguste Rodin”
That is great!
Thanks Divs!
Love! Beautiful pictures : )
Thank you so much.
Finally a pic from Hyderabad….how the landscape has changed. From the Shivaliks to the Deccan…
Not the Shivaliks, Lee.
Himalayas!
And great that finally your wait got over, hehehe.
Is not Shivalik part of the Himalayas?
That was not my point.
Shivaliks are just the outer (lowest) Himalayas, so yes, Shivaliks are surely a part of Himalayas, but all the Himalayas cannot be called Shivaliks.
Generally, Himalayas are mid- and high- ranges of mountains, which you have always been seeing in my photos.
Nice view! Margie
Thanks, Margie.
Rich green symmetry, very nice!
Thanks, Karen. Symmetry is something very common in nature.
Beautiful pictures and nice quote!
Thank you, dotdos.
Lovely images.
(those red flowers look similar to some I photographed yesterday in Melbourne. Are you able to do a close-up photo please, Nandini).
Close up – I so want to do that! But it is quite far from the window, and can’t capture from ground since it is too high.
I wish I could do that. And please post your red flowers, Victoria!
N, buhut khoob! You have a way with your eyes and the camera clicking! Would you believe that I still have a 1960 Andy Warhol type camera?! I ought to live in gramophone days! Great shot, Nandini. Cheers, S
Hahaha
You have got a camera at least which itself is great. Although you can opt for a new-tech one anytime!
Shukriya, for your sweet words, Shaheen (Lovely name).
Hmmm…my dear, I have techy camera Canon! The Andy Warhol is for keeps! Let’s see if I ever needed to upgrade my Canon to Godknowswhat – I shall take you with me to shop!
Aur…buhut shukria for liking my name – it is means royal falcon /eagle ! Lol. X
Oh that’s even better!
Sure, I would go with you, hehehe, but perhaps I won’t be of much help. I’m more in a learning stage.
I love Urdu, and some Urdu words are so touching and soft. I wish I could integrate them in my daily language. People would think I’m a lyricist.
But…you are a lyricist – through your lens. Kya Nandini aitabaar kare iss sachhai ko? Ehsaas kijiye Nandini begum! Keep it clicking. Cheers.
Wah wah, kitne sundar shabon ka istemaal liya aapne! Bahut bahut shukriya, Shaheen.
I will keep clicking, that’s for sure.
Thank very much!
This is simply amazing!!!
Thank you Ankit Mathur, for visiting and letting me know about it.
Great photos Nandini!
Thanks so much, David.

True!
Thanks a lot, Chris, for your lovely uplifting words.
Great capture Nandini! I LOVE the green and the texture of the green
Green is always good.
Thanks, Pix. I truly appreciate your comments.
Green is good, green is great!
Nice one!
Yup! It is…
Thank you, Pablo.
Having visited a few warmer climes than my own, I have always been struck how the quality of light & blends of local colour are different from my home. Even our summers do not have quite the same combination or quality. Your post captures that very effectively.
Thank you for such a wonderful comment.
