As the title suggests, I am eagerly waiting for rain (it’s too hot here!). According to the weather guys, it was supposed to arrive three days back. But all I have got is clear blue skies.
Today, I’m sharing a photo which I took last year during Monsoon. It makes me feel good. I chose B&W for this one. I like it this way better.
You can check the non-B&W photos (taken on the same day) by clicking here.
………………………..
Where are you, Mr. Monsoon? Still partying in the South coast? Hehehe.

BEAUTIFUL shot, Nandini!
THANK YOU, Marion!
That is nice image. You have vision. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much, Tushar!
beautiful.. .
Thank you!
Oooh! What an amazing capture! Keep it up Nandini!!
Thanks, Mehmudah.
Excellent macro monochrome!!! Cheers Nonoy Manga
Thank you, Nonoy! You have an excellent blog.
LOve your image. It is a strange world. Extremes from hot to very, very wet. Here in the u.K. we complain a good deal about our wet weather but compared to other parts of the world it is nothing in comparison to monsoons. Yet, as soon as we gate a run of sunny summer weather it seems to be too hot!
Strange indeed, us – humans. When are we completely and purely content?
Thanks, David, for sharing.
great photo, hope your monsoon arrives!
Thank you, dadirri.
Hope is still alive, but monsoon is not here yet.
Stunning, Nandini! It’s interesting how ‘delicate’ this is… especially when compared to a monsoon… it’s like that perfect calm before the storm…
Yeah, delicacy has been very nicely observed by you.
Thank you.
This works beautifully in B&W.
Oh, thank you, Linda.
its really hot even here,,,and dese dropsuv captured beautifully actually make me thirsty,,,,great shot,,
hope the rains come soon..:D
Thirsty? Oh, go on and grab some of them
hehehe
Thanks, Subika.

Those big drops are soooo sexy
Ooooh
I like the usage of the word.
Thanks!
Love your photo! Here in Arizona, I wait for the monsoon as well, another couple of months probably. Natures way of saying “sorry for all the heat.”
Yeah, that’s right.
Hope it arrives on time for you.
Thank you for your kind words.
Falling Down, pooling up,
Out of the sky, into your cup….
Hoping to see fabulous shots from you in this rain of 2012
Shooting in the rain would be tricky. But let me see what I can bring.
Thank you for the little poem, Amit.
I love the rain droplets in Black & White also, Nandini. I think water droplets has to be one of my favourite subjects.
Hope the rains come soon – I can only imagine how hot it must be.
It’s wonderful to shoot them, isn’t it?
Thank you for your concern Victoria.
Even though I’m such a big fan of color, I love this one over the other ones.
It’s really beautiful the detail that you captured Nandini!
Thank you very much, Pablo! I love colors too.
