“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
- Albert Einstein
I did capture one climbing moment of this ant, but, this ant knew how to run while climbing! With all the wind and the glossiness of the leaf, I was afraid that it would fall down, hehehe.
Have a good time.

Great shot, Nandini
Thanks, Victoria.
great shot of a brave ant.
Thank you, Francina!
My favourite subject are ants as my son studies them in grad school. This is a wonderful shot.
Ants are far better at climbing than one thinks…and they have very important roles in the lives of plants!
I think you have told me that before, but a long time back. Hehehe
Thanks for the facts, these tiny creatures know their way for sure!
gud one jerr
Thanks, tom!
Hi Nandini. It is nice to catch your work. Love the ant and the leaf. Must have taken a good effort to get the shot.
Yeah took me three shots to finally get this one. Hehe. But I had fun.
Thank you for coming over here and leaving me a comment. I appreciate that, Walter.
Aha, a specimen of the famous race-ants!
Great photo and close-up.
Hehehe really? I didn’t know that. Thank you, Marion!
LOL, no, of course not, I made that up. But perhaps it is a new species and you can name it!
Haha oh okay. Yeah may be, but I think this one is an old one hehehe
Amazing!
Love how the title fits in the pictureand makes it more interenting.
Well done Nandini!
Thank you so much, Pablo! Always love hearing from you.
Feels good to be here. Yes this picture is superb but it is Albert Einstein who tells us how often we can go wrong when we form opinions on others.
What I am trying my best is to practice – “Just don’t judge anyone”! Who are we to judge others? Thank you for this thought provoking post.
Cheers
Dilip
Yes even I keep telling myself not to do that. I try to stop myself as soon as my brain starts to form an essay about someone. Who am I?
Thanks for sharing your wise thoughts. I loved to know that you felt good to be here.
Cheers!
Hello Nandini,
Apologies that I haven’t been here for a while … I just don’t have enough time in the day.
LOVE your picture. Wow! I’ve been trying to find something to illustrate that marvelous quote – and you did it perfectly. A 10 out of 10!
Oh hi Rosie.
Please don’t apologize, it should be me who should! I can say the same, about time and not commenting. I’m sorry.
Thanks for your lovely words, I’m glad that you gave me full marks! Hehehe, feels good
Thank you, my angel.
