Indian Monsoon Gallery

“When you go,
if you go,
And I should want to die,
there’s nothing I’d be saved by
more than the time
you fell asleep in my arms
in a trust so gentle
I let the darkening room
drink up the evening, till
rest, or the new rain
lightly roused you awake.
I asked if you heard the rain in your dream
and half dreaming still you only said, I love you.”
― Edwin Morgan, New Selected Poems

Monsoon is not just about the rain, or is it? ;)

Anyways, you take care!

    • This year, the monsoon has delayed it’s departure. That’s what weather people said. But usually, it starts by mid-June till August end.

      Thanks, Victoria. :)

  1. The poem is magical. I read it several times. A clever addition to a monsoon that has forgotten to leave. The world weather has gone crazy no?

Love the photos. Interesting to see how beautiful and romantic a drop of rain on a leaf can be.

    • Yes, it’s behaving in quite unexpected manner. Well I suppose winter would eb delayed too. But let’s hope not. :)

I’m glad you liked the photos, Rosie. Thank you so much.
