That Evening, I Experienced Uncountable Sunsets

It all depends on how we look at things, and not on how things are in themselves.  The least of things with a meaning is worth more in life than the greatest of things without it.  ~Carl Jung

Out of those innumerable perspectives, here are eight of them:

High Contrast: Rise and Shine!

This sky photo is from September last year. I have actually shared this one before as well (long time back).
But the only reason I’m sharing it again, is because I’m missing my home and the weather there. The sky that day was really bright and beautiful. In other words, unforgettable.

I’m sure most of you are seeing this picture for the first time on my blog. :)

High contrast? To completely silhouette the slightly-silhouetted mountain and to focus more on the clouds. Look at them, they are so dreamy. ..!

Good day to you!

The Sun at my Fingertip

“We need to find God, and he cannot be found in noise and restlessness. God is the friend of silence. See how nature – trees, flowers, grass- grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence… We need silence to be able to touch souls.”
~ Mother Teresa

Just for fun!  :D

I’m loving March, are you?

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.
~ Charles Dickens

Slightly Silhouetted at Sunset in a “River” Style

I’m in love with the Golden color! :D I’m seeing it everywhere- in my laptop, around me, in the morning, in the evening, in people, ….. Hehehe. And if you have not noticed, I have changed my blog links to a golden shade (Twenty Eleven does that too!), and the main header is in a similar shade as well. ;)

Here is more gold along with golden quotations. :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Pure gold does not fear furnace”
~ Chinese Proverbs
“Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth,
but by washing away from it all that is not gold.”
~ Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy
“Stories are like fairy gold, the more you give away, the more you have.”
Have a day with golden moments! :)
Golden Reflection Framed by Himalayan Pines
Here is one glorious sunset moment I witnessed while I was travelling the past four days. It was so beautiful and incredible that I couldn’t help but take multiple shots in the little time I got from my time-bound trip.
Enjoy! :)
Sun behind a Silhouetted Leafless Tree
Now seems a perfect part;
Yet each one holds summer’s secret
Deep down within its heart.”
I just love the simplicity of this photo and the color of the sky. No editing at all – Sun did all the work for me here. ;)
Cheers to the simple and yet wonderful aspects of our lives! And hope we recognize and don’t miss them. Have a great time.
P.S.
This is my 200th post! I’m smiling… :)
A Perfect Poetic Circle
It’s great to be able to see the sun in the eyes
That moment, a rare one, when it all rhymes
The sky surprises you and you accept that prize
Nature and its wonders, how they organize
together… to make you wonder and make you wise.
Now, this is a perfect inspiring sunset moment for me! I am grateful. :)
Hope that the Nature inspires you as well. Good day! :)
A Thorny Sunset Moment
Red Thorns -
(Green red?!) :D
Isn’t it amazing how the camera adjusts to give another beautiful perspective? I just had to change my position and I got two different views of the same plant at the same time. And, it was easy to get a perfect silhouette (…and no editing). :)
A Bird on the Fence – Silhouette
I got a perfect silhouette as this bird sat on the fence with the background bright with the sunlight. Interestingly, it didn’t get scared by me getting closer to it. :)
This bird is known as Common Myna :)
