3G: Gracious Green Gulmohar

… Gulmohar from top on a party cloudy day …

. . . Black & White Closeness . . .

. . . Like an umbrella . . .

Well, Instagram is something hard to avoid. :D

. . . Gulmohar’s Shadow . . .

. . . …………………………….. . . .

Oh, by the way, Gulmohar is Hindi (Urdu) word for Royal Poinciana or Flamboyant (Scientific name: Delonix regia)In India it is known as Gulmohar (Hindi and Urdu -‘Gul’ means ‘Flower’ and ‘Mohr’ is ‘coin’. :)

It had lot of flowers – bright beautiful red flowers – but till June/July. And now is the time for it to be just green, which is fantastic too! I did share a photo of a petal which fell from this very tree. You can click here to check that (It looks like a sting-ray!)

……..

Hope you are having a nice and peaceful time.

Bare and Bushy

“There is neither happiness nor misery in the world; there is only the comparison of one state to another, nothing more. He who has felt the deepest grief is best able to experience supreme happiness. We must have felt what it is to die, that we may appreciate the enjoyments of life.”
~ Alexandre Dumas
(French Novelist and Playwright, 1802-1870)

I think they both have their own charm. No comparison! :)

Experiencing Instagram

This is going to be a quick post, as I want to spend some time to check out your blogs. I’m sure, I have missed out so much.

Here are some photos I have taken lately, and then edited using Instagram. :)

I hope you like them! Have a good time. :)

My First Two Instagram Photos

Hi! :)

Posting after such a long time, apologies! I want to but I’m not able to. :(

Here are my two Instagram photos. Just a random experiment, to try something new. Hehehe. Enjoy!

The Green Art

“To the artist there is never anything ugly in nature.”
~ Auguste Rodin

This photograph was taken on 11th March of this year. :)

The header picture is of the tree just outside the window of my workplace. Recently, the red flowers have bloomed, and red and green make a good couple, so I just clicked it (a few hours ago). ;)

As I always say -
GREEN. IS. GOOD.

Himalayan Snowfall (Part -I)

A snowflake is one of God’s most fragile creations, but look what they can do when they stick together! :)

(Click on the images to see the large preview)

Here is my favourite of all :)

Can you spot a flying bird? Seriously, the snowfall made them go crazy (I will upload few photos on that later). I guess, it was most unexpected for them.

:)

The internet connection was lost for past few days, so couldn’t update or reply to your comments either. Now I will, hopefully. :)

. . . Only Listening . . .

I was feeling very lonely (by PAULO COELHO) [Link here]

I was feeling very lonely when I left Mass in Saint Patrick’s Cathedral right in the heart of New York.

Suddenly I was approached by a Brazilian:

“I very much need to talk to you,” he said.

I was so enthused by this meeting that I began to talk about everything that was important to me. I spoke of magic, God’s blessings, love. He listened to everything in silence, thanked me and went away.

Instead of feeling happy, I felt lonelier than before. Later on I realized that in my enthusiasm I had not paid any attention to what that Brazilian wanted.

Talk to me.

I tossed my words to the wind, because that was not what the Universe was wanting at that moment: I would have been much more useful if I had listened to what he had to say.

………………………

It’s always good to share, right! :D

Goodbye for today.
