Today, it is all about the photos with a tinge of “entertainment”. Enjoy!
Though it would be unfair if I didn’t tell you about the play. The interesting dispute, or perhaps engagement
, between the rain and the snow was a total fun to observe. Ultimately, none of them won. You see the clear winner was always: the freezing water!

Those moments are engraved in my mind, forever!
Have a nice time ahead, full of peace and warmness.
On a dull cloudy day, there are not much colors around, so I thought why not to process some photos I had clicked and turn them into B&W. I didn’t lose much colors though, just the grey-blues and dull browns. I just loved the B&Ws : they were even more gorgeous.
Enjoy! (Click on the pictures for a larger and better view)

Namaste!
I really hope you are enjoying my part of the world and that too covered in the snow.
The snowfall happened just for one day (not that it was not enough, it was!)
Being content is peaceful and great. Anyways. Snow fell twice that day followed by the rain which eventually melted the snow, and by evening most of the ground snow was chilled water, except for the snow up high on the mountains. But I did capture the beauty in my eyes and thankfully, in my camera. I wished then that my camera could do more justice with the fantastic views my eyes were seeing.
But, anyways.

So, here is the second photo collection from the same day. Enjoy.

The second snowfall of the Day -

Can you see the flakes?

Poor trees
By afternoon, it was cheerful bright and a little colorful as well. As I said, a treat to my eyes.

Village down the hill -

It just got prettier and prettier

Snow in the fields – (Can you see the river flowing past the fields?)

Foggy and snowy towers. To see their monsoon version, click here – Foggy Towers.

Rain washed away the snow on the leaves
Clouds deceiving the half of the mountain. Nature’s play on a cold chilly day.

View in the evening
This was the best I could achieve with shaky hands while fighting the freezing winds along with the slight rain. Surely, I had a fun little adventure of my own. Thanks to Mum for accompanying me on this “photography” walk and holding the umbrella while I took photos. She is the sweetest heart.
Hope you enjoyed…
Cheers to winters. Stay warm!
I Didn’t Even Say ‘Freeze!’, but this tiny ant won’t budge. She, perhaps, wanted me to leave.

Sometimes, it’s better to say nothing when you face stubbornness.
Hope you are having a great and peaceful time.
Sun is in hiding today, making it even more colder. Today before noon, I caught a moment when the Sun was disappearing behind the dark clouds ( – enemies on a winter day) .
It was insanely beautiful though – a little left over blue sky, sun-peeking, dark clouds, and silhouetted mountain, the soft colors – perfect for my camera. ![]()
The moment didn’t last long, like now, the sky is clouded, same everywhere, no visible Sun, and very cold.

Hope you are having a sunny warm day.

Cricket (just watching) is keeping me busy today. So here is a macro shot for today. I clicked it about a month ago.

Just noticed, two of my favorite things are there in this photo – pink and pearls. I enabled the snow-fall on my blog today and it looks interesting with this picture, doesn’t it?
And I’m loving these wool macro shots! Click here for more.
Woolen clothes are out! Winters have arrived fully now. I like this season as well as much as I like the other seasons. So while I was warming up myself in the sun, my mind suddenly came up with the idea of taking these shots. I have used the same mountain background before in my comfort post. I liked it too much, so why not again.
I loved how these fibers were shining in the light. Too pretty for my camera.
Or may be they were electrically dancing with the Himalayan beauty behind? Hehehe.

Here are just two of them. “Split ends”

Happy winters to you! December is going to be much much colder than November. Keep yourself warm and cozy!
In winters, a tree is good only from a distance
In summers, everyone needs it for comfort or sometimes solace
Cheers for the tree, anyway!
