All the while I ignored it. But when the morning light shone on this tiny amazing plant crawling its way forward, I had to click it. The tiniest element (is it a flower or a leaf..?) leading the way for its new branch seemed to me the most courageous and also the most inviting for my camera. The green grass added a little more magic to it.
Beauty is everywhere!
Himalayan Bulbul or White-Cheeked Bulbul
Bird Family : Pycnonotidae – Asian bulbuls, finchbills & malia
Location: Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India
Date: December 22, 2015
The word ‘Bulbul’ is a Persian name for Nightingale.
I have once before posted few pics of the same bird (click here to go to that post), but back then I hadn’t realized that it has a hairstyle like the famous cartoon character ‘Johnny Bravo‘. Hehehe. Here, the cloudy sky provided great light to click this lovely bird, which showed up suddenly to (I am sure) surprise me😉 or more likely, to drink water.
Wish you a very happy and wonderful year ahead.

“Those who see the cosmic perspective as a depressing outlook, they really need to reassess how they think about the world. Because when I look up in the universe, I know I’m small but I’m also big. I’m big because I’m connected to the universe, and the universe is connected to me.”
~Neil deGrasse Tyson
I hope February is going lovely for you!😉
“I have spread my heart in the sky and found your touch in my dreams.
Take away that veil from your face, let me see your eyes.
There rings your welcome at the doors of the forest fairies;
your anklet bells sound
in all my thoughts
filling my work with music.”
~ Song of the Autumn by Rabindranath Tagore (Play: Autumn Festival)
